Which Rolls-Royce systems this covers
The iDrive generations fitted to modern Rolls-Royce models: Entry Motion / CCC, CIC Premium and CIC Move, NBT NEXT, and NBT EVO ID4 and ID5/ID6. Because these share BMW’s platform, the map words on your version screen read exactly as they would in a BMW — MOTION, PREMIUM, MOVE, NEXT or EVO.
NEXT, Premium, Move, Motion and EVO ID4 receive a 20-digit FSC code entered once on screen. NBT EVO ID5/6 receives a Lifetime FSC file that the system applies by itself.
Own an NBT EVO ID5/6? These head units also support wireless Apple CarPlay. Once your maps are current, the CarPlay activation is a one-time, VIN-locked upgrade — full screen wherever the firmware allows. Check the compatibility guide first.
What arrives, and how long it takes
Order online and the map data plus your activation are emailed once a specialist has checked your VIN — typically within a few minutes to a couple of hours during working hours, because codes are compiled by hand rather than issued automatically. Prefer not to prepare a USB stick yourself? Choose the pre-loaded USB option in the order box and we ship a ready drive, tracked.

Region change for imported cars
Map data is licensed per region, so a car imported from another market will refuse a map from your own. Choose “imported car” in the order box and the conversion is included, supplied with a Lifetime FSC. On EntryNav2 WAY, MGU LIVE and MGU JOY the change is written over an ENET cable with a Windows laptop — we send the feature code, app link and instructions once your order is confirmed. How do I know which map version I’ll get?

The order box shows it live — pick your system and region and the exact name appears (e.g. Road Map EUROPE EVO 2026-1). We always supply the newest release BMW has issued for that system and region, verified against your VIN.
Do I type a 20-digit code, or is it automatic?

Older systems (NEXT, Premium, Move, Motion, Route, EVO ID4) use a 20-digit FSC code you enter once. EVO ID5/6, WAY, LIVE and JOY use a Lifetime FSC file instead — nothing to type.
My Rolls-Royce is imported — can you change the region?

Yes. Choose “No — imported car” in the order box and we convert it to the region you want, with a Lifetime FSC. On WAY, LIVE and JOY this needs an ENET cable + Windows laptop (we email the code, app and instructions). Other systems are simpler.
What if I choose the wrong option?

You can’t end up with the wrong order — after payment we verify every selection against your VIN before dispatch, and correct or refund if anything doesn’t match.
